California Helping Hands Foundation (CHHF) is a San Diego non-profit organization that has been helping Southern California Special Needs children and foster children families since 2015. Raising these wonderful kids is a blessing for our families, but it also comes with a unique set of special challenges. Our volunteer organization truly understands and appreciates that sometimes it's difficult (and expensive) to get the whole family out to experience some of the exciting events our area has to offer. That's why we've come together as a community to ensure that these generous families and their kids can attend sporting events, go to the zoo, play games, visit amusement parks, socialize, and be around others with similar challenges.
Since 2015, California Helping Hands Foundation has focused on providing trips to events, entertainment venues, tickets to Disneyland, ball games, and much more to hundreds of families with Special Needs children.
In 2018, we are hosting an array of events for foster children and their families with fun times ranging from movie nights to baseball games, and a lot more. Our focus and ambition are to help our beautiful local foster children enjoy fun events and experiences not previously obtainable, and to bring together foster families from all across San Diego and Orange counties.
Many of the children we work with have been in the foster care system for years and have never been able to experience some of the carefree joys and entertainment that many of us take for granted. California Helping Hands Foundation offers these children and their foster parents the opportunity to enjoy extraordinary new adventures which helps bond our families and, of course, their love for one another.
